Terms of Service
Last updated: June 10, 2026
Welcome to Asancase. By accessing or using our digital legal marketplace, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Asancase platform ("Platform"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Platform.
2. Nature of the Platform
Asancase provides a technological platform that connects individuals and businesses ("Clients") with independent legal professionals ("Lawyers"). Asancase is not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice, representation, or legal services directly. The attorney-client relationship is formed exclusively between the Client and the Lawyer they choose to hire through the Platform.
3. User Responsibilities
For Clients:
- You must provide accurate and complete information when registering and requesting services.
- You agree to pay all agreed-upon fees to Lawyers through the Platform's secure payment system.
- You understand that Asancase cannot guarantee the outcome of any legal matter.
For Lawyers:
- You must maintain an active, in-good-standing license to practice law in your stated province.
- You must adhere to the Asancase Code of Ethics and your provincial bar council's rules of professional conduct.
- You agree not to bypass the Platform's billing and communication systems for clients acquired through Asancase.
4. Payment and Escrow
To protect both parties, Asancase utilizes an escrow payment system for certain types of representation. Clients deposit funds which are held securely and released to the Lawyer only upon completion of agreed-upon milestones. Asancase charges a service fee for facilitating the transaction, which is clearly disclosed prior to payment.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Asancase and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the platform; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the platform, including without limitation, any defamatory, offensive, or illegal conduct of other users or lawyers.
6. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute between a Client and a Lawyer regarding fees or services rendered, Asancase offers a voluntary mediation process. However, we are not legally obligated to resolve such disputes. Any disputes arising from these Terms of Service or your use of the Platform itself shall be governed by the laws of Pakistan, and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Islamabad.
